I went to this restaurant for dinner after work and found it to be quite empty when I arrived. I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We ordered nasi lemak, coconut rice, ox tongue, and cheese chips, all of which were done very well. I loved it. View all feedback.
What Cassidy Wolff doesn't like about Naughty Nuri's:
The food was either really good or not good at all. The good: The beef slider out of the trio was amazing! The grilled chicken was tasty! The ice cream was good too. Chicken wings were not bad either. Staff were super friendly and food...was quick. The not so good: the soft shell crab slider was average. The pork slider, unfortunately I was trying to spit it out without anyone noticing : It was just way too hard and... View all feedback.
My friend and I went to hoyts for a preview screening, and then we were looking for a place to eat. that was my first visit, but my friend, who is Indonesian, was here before. we had the fried sambal chicken winglets that were generous but could have been a bit crispy (as the cheese made them a bit soggy.) the stallout was the babe goreng, cooked with hues and seafood perfectly, and it was full of great taste. would the definitiw come back.
After having a drink in the Asian beercafé first, I moved to this nearby Indonesian restaurant. it was a divine as it was not loud, and had a much better atmosphere. I was dressed by the $8 jugs beer. unfortunately it was a light beer with only 3.5% alcohol. I'm going to be rigorous. I enjoyed my beer with truffle oil. fries were nice and crispy as they should be. female Asian server was very pleasant. I saw many meals served around me and meal sizes seemed very generhus with bbq ribs very popular. this is a good option at melbourne central.
Was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of eating in this Indo-centric restaurant. I had the little chickens which were tender, spicy and buttery. the beef rendang was the highlight, although with a coriander riata that just lifted the dish to another level....Dampfreis accompanied the meal to all juices and a cold Singha beer helped wash everything down.
My wife and I were now twice in this restaurant, for the first time with friends and again from us, both males were very good, the eating excellent service is good menu. they have a selection of common foods as well as individual articles, but... most of the menus they can share, so of them is a little different and some very sharp.
I met up with a friend here as she wanted to try it. Having eaten in Indonesia, I’m not sure if they are changing the recipes to suit Western palates or whether what I ate in Bali was uniquely special. Either way I wasn’t overly...satisfied. Having said that, I highly recommend the satay skewers. Packed with flavour, these were the only thing I really enjoyed from what I ate. Wait staff were friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. There were a lot of demanding customers, so I am not sure if this is normal for them. On occasion the decor irritates me, and the chairs were not comfortable at all. Some people like the metal chairs, but I hate them. I like to relax when I eat, and I like comfort too. It would have been good to see more authentic dishes, rather than a mix of Asian cuisines. If you do go, get the satay skewers, they were amazing.
