Mesa Greek Cuisine - Melbourne

We found the food just okay dips are good and fresh, our fish wasn't hot just room temperature which was sent back and came back the same, chicken skewers where not cook throught and also where returned and asked the waiter to have then cooked again, we waited 25 minutes with no replacement and asked again about our order to another waiter which she recitified as the replacement wasn't given to the kitchen. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was nice, but very loud.

I have ben there many time in the past couple of years & again just a month ago. The service is fast & staff are wonderful. I have just purchased a Groupon Voucher to use again next month, 7 courses & wine-Exceptional Value. Cannot wait to re-book again.

We recently attended Mesa for a friends birthday. This is A great traditional Greek restaurant, friendly and attentive staff and the food was fantastic. Will not disappoint.

We visited this restaurant after purchasing a coupon for a 7 course dinner with a glass of wine and we were surprised and delighted that it well exceeded our expectations. I have dined on Greek cuisine in many places, but this one was easily the best. The food was that plentiful that we could not even finish the last course and we took it home as take-away. The ambience was good, the service very good and I will revisit for sure.There is a bar area and good outdoor seating as well. It will not disappoint.

We arrived at 8:15 pm, and were seated, and left.......Finally the waiter came over, I asked for the Pepper Jack Red wine, he asked if I would like the Greek one? " No thanks" I ordered the Lamb on the spit, he asked me " do you want that lamb or the other one" ? " the one I asked for thanks " The menu said that the chicken was served with roast potatoes n lemon. I ordered this he asked me if I wanted breast skewers ? " well does it come another way? As the menu only had 1 x style of chicken ? His reply "Oh yes, you should have the skewers" I ordered the dip, and pitta " would you like the pitta or the home made bread " Really everything I ordered he tried to change.... The dip and homemade bread came out! Then the meals arrived... I was shocked as I only ordered this because I wanted the chicken and potatoes with the yogurt dip.... on the plate was a side salad with no dressing, and a pile of chips! - I did not want to eat chips and these were not roast potatoes! If you are going to service something that is different from the menu, you really should have the decency to let the customer know ! I would not have ordered the dip if I was told it came with the meal. Glad I didn't order a salad to come with the meal...... Not one of the staff or the manager girl came over to ask us about the meal, it was pretty obvious we were not eating....... We got up went to pay, we had to wait for her to look up from her phone, and she just said that is $85 she did not even look at us, or even ask " how was your meal, or how was everything" She did not give a toss, neither did any of the 4-5 staff.... all in all the service was 0 the atmosphere was 0 the manager or host had zero service skills. And I would not recommend this place to anyone.....
