Good food and great surroundings. (most) staff are friendly and welcoming. We ordered the garlic pans and the seafood Paella, and I was happy with both dishes. Prices are on the more expensive side, but it is worth trying once or twice. Overall we had a good night with family and friends at Max. If the weather is suitable, I would recommend sitting outside as there is live music and the area is very lively

My hubby and I went to Max’s for our 29th Wedding Anniversary First time and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, the cocktail’s too and the staff were very gracious and friendly. Thank you for such an awesome night. A must for great Italian food. We will definitely be back when we come to Melbourne again.

Good location with nice setting. Closer to public transport and walking distance to many more restaurants and bar. Friendly staff and wide varieties of dishes in menu. We had beef lasagne and chilli prawn and it was delicious.

Wandering CBD shopping and then some lunch. A great menu with many possibilities for everyone. The staff was happy to leave us alone for a few drinks before we feel very welcome. We ordered three plates to share, bread dips, meat balls and garlic shrimps. The dives were delicious and fresh. The meatballs were full of taste, moist and tasty, would make a great main role with a pasta. The garlic pans were perfectly cooked with a creamy garlic sauce. The food atmosphere of the street ensures a pleasant lunch The amenities were small but functional and clean. We're coming back
