Had a bit of expectation when coming here after the reviews, but boy did they meet it! Was lovely service and delightful menu. the food was beyond delicious! Great serving sizes, helpful staff. The price is on the more expensive end but worth the experience, sustainability and good service. Would recommend a visit if in the CBD.

I will definitely revisit this restaurant because I enjoy the open, natural lobby atmosphere and the wide variety of items on the menu. I have tasted both the eggplant sandwich and the porchetta sandwich, and they were both delicious (although I believe the eggplant with honey was slightly better than the porchetta).

I enjoyed a delicious latte with a nutty and full-bodied flavor. Unfortunately, my friend was unable to order a cold brew as they had run out by midday. For my meal, I opted for the porchetta which was generously portioned and cut thick. The seasoning was flavorful with a nice fennel and spice kick. The crackling on the outside was crispy and delicious, although there were some large pieces of fat that made the dish quite heavy. The protein itself was a bit hit-and-miss, with some parts being tender and others dry, possibly from exposure to heat for too long. The porchetta was served with a beetroot and fennel salad, along with a lemon wedge and herbaceous sauce for added flavor. While the sauce wasn't necessary as the pork was flavorful on its own, it provided a nice variation to the dish. I look forward to trying their signature chicken roll next time, but I would caution against the credit card surcharge.

Luckily, I knew where to go. The cafe also has a wine shop where you can purchase some drinks to take home after your meal, which I thought was a smart idea. I ordered a strong skinny latte, which was good, but not outstanding. The coffee flavor was decent. As for the food, I tried a 1/4 rotisserie chicken with beetroot and goat cheese. The chicken was excellent with a crispy skin, and the beetroot was fresh and delicious. I really liked the variety of seating options at this cafe, whether you want to work, relax in a comfortable chair with a coffee, sit at a table, or even perch on a stool along a long bench. It all came together nicely. This place is definitely worth a visit, just make sure to keep an eye out for it.

This is a busy busy place, on any given day, and for how busy they are, they do well. Sometimes, you can get lost in the crowd, but the fact that the floor manager can pick these things up is what separates the exceptional places.Frankly, the food and coffee is exceptional. It's that simple. Had the chicken burger with a side of fries. OMG! I had been craving a good chicken burger for quite some time, and finally, a place that nailed it.100% would return and would travel into the CBD for.

Nestled within an office building, Liminal, the latest venture from The Mulberry Group, impresses with its chic design and open kitchen. Offering a diverse menu, guests rave about the generous portions, like the flavorful porchetta and crispy rotisserie chicken, complemented by fresh sides such as beetroot and goat cheese salad. While the coffee is decent, standout dishes include the eggplant sandwich and pumpkin brioche, served with whipped buffalo curd. Despite occasional service hiccups in the bustling atmosphere, attentive staff ensure an enjoyable dining experience. Liminal is a must-visit destination for food lovers in Melbourne’s CBD, though watch for credit card surcharges.

The atmosphere is great, an ideal place for work meetings or working on your laptop. The staff are kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the tart wasn’t served properly, which made it a bit difficult to eat. Today was my third time visiting Liminal and it’s a great spot for your city coffee fix! situated in amongst the cosy lights of a ground floor office building on collins st, you get to sit in cosy couches while enjoying your morning coffee amongst cathartic conversation. the QR code service method is efficient, however more in person interaction may be suitable for the wide demographic that attends this cafe!
