Like so many asian restaurants, you don't go there for the decor, so many are stuck in the 70's or 80's, but then who cares what it looks like, it's all about the food. We had a variety of items between the 3 of us and we were all impressed with what came out.The buns and dumplings were particularly good. View all feedback.

The sichuan peppercorn flavor are rich and authentic. Braised Pork are rich with original Chinese flavor. Dumplings are not as good as before still cheap. It is a place good value for money. View all feedback.

After a thoroughly enjoyable evening seeing The Book of Mormon at the Princess Theatre, we wandered to the Asian restaurant district off Russell Street and enjoyed a post-theatre supper of pan-fried mushroom and vegetable dumplings and pan-fried pork buns. The serves were generous--4 per serve, so 8 buns and dumplings in total ($7.80 per serve of 4 buns) along with a serve of 8 mini spring rolls ($9.80). All the food was fresh and tasty and arrived promptly. Asian dumplings hit the spot after the theatre. Total cost for everything for two people: $25.40 (cash only).
Nice cosy place to eat. Fairly busy due to the nice food they serve. Dumplings were fresh and beautiful. My fav was the Stir fry mixed vegetable with prawns. Awesome place to eat. We were in Melbourne for a week and we ate here twice. A bit pricey but well worth it.

If you're after a quick meal in a bustling restaurant then you can't go far wrong here. Plenty to chose from and service is quick. I went for BBQ Thai chicken with rice for about $8 and just about managed to eat it all (I can put the food away!)We got there around 13:00 and were lucky to get a seat.
