Stipped to shop at Ballywood Fashio s and spotted vintage table. Staff super friendly and turned around...came in and irdered ice coffees. Place has capacity for groups of 80. Music - real vinyl - awesome atmosphere with Wednesday Night live music.A definite place to visit. Parking is premium and bus 220 goes past. Hours of operation 0830 to 430 and Tuesday and Wednesday till 9pm.I will definitely return with friends... View all feedback.

We've tried this local place a few times, and we keep going back for the coffee and the egg and bacon sandwich - but that's about it unfortunately. Service is always slow with new staff all the time it seems, but it never improves the service. View all feedback.

I would not recommend this place it was full of flies buzzing around. The tables were sticky and the overall look of the place was unclean. Did not offer to me what I wanted
Went to Jellybread on the day of the festival in West Footscray, so clearly it's going to be a busy day and an extra wait is forgiveable.Walked into the backyard garden, their best feature. This time, though, there's piles of junk there, and a half-hearted attempt to barricade it off with other junk, placed at just about "tripping height". Walk past the junk and the tables are decent and the atmosphere is pleasant and farmyard-ish, but the kids' toys and the caravan cubby house are in a state of disrepair you would be hesitant to let your kid play in.There's empty tables around, the place is maybe 2/3 full in terms of tables occupied but nevertheless my partner advises me to ask them if there's a long wait for food, "just in case" and while I'm around the front, a staff member is apologising to someone for the wait, and advises me "yep" when I ask if there is a long wait for food.Okay, bullet dodged. We go and have a nice lunch at another cafe. Later heard that they stopped taking food orders at 11:30am (about when we were there). Guess it was a really bad day for them. The state of the backyard area has gone severely downhill since previous visits where we were happy with the place. We didn't really get to sample the food, but on previous visits it's been good food, if you can find a menu item they haven't run out of. I'd be understanding of their difficulties given the unexpectedly high turnout on festival day, if it weren't for these other issues.I have the feeling, rightly or wrongly, that this place has potential but the owners are out of their depth.
I have been coming here since 6 years. The make the best coffee in Barkly st . I visit here almost every day . Good atmosphere with good coffee what else u need
I visited this restrauant with my sister and her 2 yo granddaughter. When I walked into the place it reeked a cultural bohemian atmosphere, I was memorised with the posters of many great musicians.I was directed out to the rear of the restaurant through a narrow door and down a small narrow walkway into the backyard. In front of me was a private backyard, that you would find behind any residence in inner Melbourne. There was wooden tables and chairs covered with nylon shade tents, it created a raw natural atmosphere for people to gather, converse and just enjoy the place. The kids could investigate the surroundings, play in the small caravan and guinea pig hutch.I ordered a middle eastern dish of a pitta bread, topped with 2 fried eggs, melted cheese and garlic puree. Very Nice. The chai tea was great and the service was prompt.I like this place, the grandchild enjoyed herself with the surroundings and the adults has a very pleasant lunch.
