Not been to a Italian restaurant for ages. Walked past this restaurant and thought why not. Tables with table clothes and we’ll set but it’s not pretentious or over priced. Pasta was just fabulous. Beautifully cooked. Highly recommend. Plus service on point. View all feedback.

Attended the Duets night in April. Just under 90 patrons packed in like sardines and the noise! Could hardly talk to the two people at either side of the table almost impossible to talk to my wife sitting opposite me. The entertainment was great, as was the food. This is by far the best Italian food and service in Melbourne you must try it! I had the best night with my family and work colleagues at Il Duca. The service is incredible the food is premium quality and I love the atmosphere. I cannot recommend this restaurant high enough it has been one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. Peter was our server for the night has was very professional, has incredible people skills and made us laugh all night. I have been here many times over the years and they always keep on raising the bar. Thank you for the very memorable and joyful experiences. The restaurant was excellent. It was conveniently located near the CBD and had a beautiful view of trees, even though it was close to a train station. The food was delicious and diverse, and the waitstaff were very attentive. My family and I had a lovely evening.
This restaurant was decent and the staff were friendly. The food was good but lacked a few key elements that would have made our experience better. We ordered the grilled calamari with orange and fennel salad, which had fresh and tender calamari but lacked enough salad. The Veal Scallopine we had was tasty with a nice sauce, but the portion size was small for the price of $42. The Chocolate crepe was filled with cream, which was not what we expected. Perhaps adding chocolate gelato would have been a better choice. These comments are meant to provide constructive feedback. Overall, it was an expensive meal and we left feeling hungry, which is not something we typically experience. Thank you.
Fabulous East Melbourne restaurant. The owners staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Food service were excellent as always. Great value for money and BYO wine!
The dinner was delicious and the service was attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Meals were good, we’re hoping for a bit more wow. Lasagne was nice, layers of pasta were well cooked but the filling and bechamel a little underwhelming. The veal scallopini was nice but was hoping for a wow dish as it was the main reason we visited Il Duca.

Not been to a Italian restaurant for ages. Walked past this restaurant and thought why not. Tables with table clothes and we’ll set but it’s not pretentious or over priced. Pasta was just fabulous. Beautifully cooked. Highly recommend. Plus service on point.
Simply faultless. Cosy ambience. Attentive, experienced service and a full knowledge of the extensive menu selections. A wide variety of wines by the glass or bottle. Delicious , well presented meals. Deserts to die for. An unforgettable dining experience.

From the moment you walk in you can just feel the professionalism, table cloth's, clean carpet, interesting wall art etc. However we came to eat well and that's what we were given. Excellent Italian food. Il Duca has now been confirmed as one of our favoured regular restaurant list for our weekly luncheon club. We all said we would like to try the whole menu. It was very hard to choose. Lino our waiter was just so pleasant and courteous, couldn't really wish for better. We will definitely be coming back often. Keep up the great work, especially the chefs.
Went here with the family, first time for the kids (well, young adults). Have always enjoyed meals here. Started with a cheese platter which had some excellent cheeses. For the mains the gnocchi was great. We also had ravioli and shared a couple of pizzas. All very good. The staff were entertaining and offered some very good wine selections. A great night had by all.

A pleasant lunch. Beautiful traditional cuisine prepared and presented beautifully. The pea soup was excellent as the grilled pig. A beautiful wine card and very good and attentive staff.
Il Duca always serves excellent food and service. So delighted to be able to go to Il Duca and know that we are safe from the best kitchen and ambience.
Great food and service. Perfect for lunch or dinner before or after football. You have a great menu. I had the Pasta Pescatora and it was fantastic. Will definately return
Service was nice! The staff was well presented and very attentive. Restaurant was really nice. Food was Delish. We had the lasagna and pork fillet.
A nice quiet spot just outside the buisy centre. The atmosphere were as promised a «fine dining» set. Main dish and wine selecton was excelent, despite the final touch of Italian enthusiasm was missing. Definitly a place to recommend outside the crouded parts of Melbourne.
