This was definitely one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Everything from the food to the service to the drinks was perfect. I can't fault this place at all. The prawn cocktail was a standout favorite at our table! We will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Iki-jime, Seafood By Vue:
eating and his presentation on a plate or delivery method of waiting staff was either disappointed and the tasting menu 145 was not good for me and my friend. I would not go back to dinner or lunch unless there are huge changes. in comparison to other 2hatted restaurants is iki jime not good enough. some foods were delicious. View all feedback.
Second time at Ikijime, great food, great decor, great atmosphere. And above all, great service! Seafood all the way but, you better love seafood like me or you could tip right on Dessert menu! Wine selection was great and offer a good selection of fine wine!!
Excellent food very fresh ingredients and we had the best place in the house to observe the cooks prep our meal! Service was really good fun and attentive! Can't wait to go back
A booking on Friday for a dinner at the following dinner. Easy reservation. The staff was very warm and friendly from entry to departure. Various and unique selection of foods, some wonderful, some so. Prices are not bad, decent value. Sommelier was beautiful and knew his stuff. Pick of the foods would be the ceviche, Moreton Bay Bug tart and miso fish wings
This place is perfect for a romantic dinner, small table, cosy with big banquette and chairs. Friendly staff, the chefs sometimes are coming to the table. Remi the French sommelier knows his wines ask him for the perfect match. You have to be a SEAFOOD LOVER, the fish is from Mark Eather, he really respect the fish, the chef Ben-John made my entrée just amazing, fresh oyster, the blue mackerel, bonito!!!! From the josper grab the prawn and the bug tail tart and any big fish.
Great flavours and food. There were some weird interpretation such as the Prawn cocktail which is 4 prawns on a huge plate. Portions otherwise are very generous. Recommending the cucumber and the eggplant as sides! And leave room for dessert. The variation of rhubarb looks a bit pink but is delicious. If you go for the pear tart tartin it's best to share and ask for the wattle seed ice cream on the side if you are not familiar with the taste
