What User doesn't like about Hot Star Large Fried Chicken:
The chicken is really nice not sure its worth queuing for though! The batter on it is really good but a lot of the chicken was the bone so even though it looks big its not a lot of meat! View all feedback.
Went to have chicken for breakfast, saw an advertisement for chicken as big as your head. Have you met my girlfriend, she has a large head. Quality of chicken not the issue, quality of girlfriend questionable.
For months on I saw people walking near the station with this massive fried chicken in their hands. I never figured out where it came from until my Taiwanese friend brought me there to taste typical local food. Apparently it is supposed to be devoured with a bubble tea but hey i need both of my hands to eat this fried chicken. It was yummy and crispy outside and full of chicken salt. Leave it for an hour and it will not be very pleasant however.I do have to complain nevertheless about the food handling. I understand the deep fryer is hot and it gets busy. But i caught the staff wiping her forehead and handling food right after.
Went here with the kids for an after dinner snack. Had seen the rave reviews, queues and and been wanting to try it for ages. About a 10 min wait while they cooked it fresh it was delicious. Crispy tasty chicken which we got with a chili seasoning. It was everything we were expecting and more so. Can't wait to have it again.

On the way home after a tiring day of being hungry, a quick feed was in the view. Hot Star delivered with the ridiculously oversized friend chicken. Although on the salty side I can see this being the perfect feed for after drinks. This non expensive snack was more like a dinner, for two people the amount was not too much and not to little. If only we had a drink… maybe bubble tea.
