What Mary Shanahan doesn't like about Hop Sing Bar & Food:
If you like Tapas then you will like this menu. If you don't like tapas, then you will struggle. Personally, I found it wasn't to my taste but that's because I don't eat fish/shellfish of any kind. Staff are amazing though and were more than happy to allow me to select from the room service menu. View all feedback. What Tito Herzog likes about Hop Sing Bar & Food:
We had a late-ish supper last night and got to experience the new menu. Instead of opting for large plates, we shared four "smaller" plates. Chicken stays were tasty. Green papaya salad, refreshing. Spicy lamb ribs with the meat falling off the bone and, finally, soft shell crab on steamed buns. Everything was fresh and tasty and good sized serves. Recommended. View all feedback.

read moreLime Restaurant at the Mercure hotel used to be known for its Braised Shanks, which are no longer available, leaving a sense of nostalgia for some patrons. The menu has changed to include smaller size and larger size servings, with some inconsistencies in serving times. Despite these changes, the food quality and variety have received mixed reviews. Some diners enjoyed their meals, especially the soft shell crab, lamb ribs, and tapas-style dishes. Others found certain dishes like the chicken Satay and Kolkata Prawns to be disappointing. The restaurant offers a friendly atmosphere, generous portions, and a variety of Asian and Western options. Service can be slow at times, but the staff are welcoming and accommodating. Overall, the Lime Restaurant at Mercure is recommended for those looking for a convenient dining option with a decent selection of dishes, although improvements could be made in terms of consistency and service speed.
