From start to finish Dan and Mike took us through fab food and wine. You must just go here for a passionate experience knowledge on beer and wines stocked was informative and on the each one carefully selected for the list food...fine and creative. We had the degustation food was simply delicious flavours were distinctive and well executed. Stand out for me was the puy lentil parfait but all was just great. Great passion at this place. Best I've had ever and we eat out a lot.

This restaurant was amazing from start to finish. The food was seasonal, fresh, and delicious. The kitchen staff and waiters were very attentive to my partner's severe food allergies and intolerances. We wanted to clean our plates they were so good. The waiters were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We couldn't find a single flaw in our dining experience. We would love to visit again.

We found this venue online and were very happy surprised when we visited this little shade in rathdowne street. the maître d’ advised that it was the second night of the restaurant in 2022, so that it was the year with a very high. Service levels have begun. the accommodation offers a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. we sat outside and chose to share meal times of pork with cauliflower, flank steak and aubergine and chips that were all really delicious, especially the meat sauces and the garlauchaioli with the chips. many gluten-free options also. we would definitely recommend this venue for drinks or a delicious meal and look forward to the return.

I hosted a birthday dinner for close friends at Henry Sugar on a Saturday night. I was looking for a restaurant that offered a mix of elegance and casualness, with excellent and innovative food, a cozy atmosphere, and a touch of charm. Henry Sugar delivered on all fronts. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. Although our table was delayed due to the previous group staying longer than expected, the team made us feel well taken care of. The food was outstanding, with everyone in the group (some picky eaters included) raving about the creativity and deliciousness of the menu. The desserts were divine and the wine selection offered wonderful pairings. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and not overly intrusive, making us all want to linger all night. Everyone in our party agreed they would highly recommend Henry Sugar to others and we all plan to return soon. Don't wait too long to try this gem before it gets too busy to get a reservation. Thanks to the team, I had a perfect evening. The extensive drinks list, cozy atmosphere, and friendly professional service make Henry Sugar a truly special place.

This was my third visit to Henry Sugar. The menu remains interesting. The wine list has expanded. The bread remains delicious. And, once more, the entrees and mains defeated me before I got to desert. Good service. Great to see this restaurant going from strength...to strength and so full.
