What User doesn't like about Grill'd South Melbourne:
I went to purchase food at 9:45 and was told that the restaurant was closed, even though the website stated it closed at 10:00. I am disappointed that despite being only 100 meters from my home, I will not be returning to this establishment. If you advertise closing at 10:00, please do not turn customers away at 9:45. Overall, a very disappointing experience. View all feedback.
Got take away order or sunday evening, when i went back home chips were smelling of oil which tasted like havent been changed from long time. First time disappointed with opporto.
Love the food. Oporto is Oporto. Lemon and herb basting on chicken was superb. I would say go for take outs, as dine in seat are less. They are super fast and efficient, you will get your orders in mins.
This restaurant is highly recommended for dining. I had the half chicken for dinner and it was well-cooked with excellent service. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch with a rating of 10/10. As an Uber driver, I would definitely recommend this place. There is plenty of parking available on the side street and the food is served quickly, within 2-5 minutes.
If I could give this restaurant a zero-star rating, I would. My son and husband ordered takeout on Christmas Eve and my son ended up getting food poisoning from the chicken. We spent the entire night awake with him vomiting. My husband also got very sick and neither of them could eat on Christmas Day, our first Christmas together post-COVID. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Let me say this FOOD POISONING!!!’ I ordered the chicken , rice , and tomatoes, no avocado. It had lettuce big mistake they didn’t listen to my order so it come with tomatoes. I throw them out … the tables outside where filled with birddirty, trash everywh After eating the meal I was very worried about the lettuce the have been news reports aboutand very large lettuce recall I went back into the restaurant and the guy didn’t underst b dasaid the dia And there was no problems eating it . YES there was!!!!!!!! I was so sick with food poisoning I was throwing up all night and the next day It was painful. With daorrria non stop I was so sick I called the restaurant they told me they won’t not do anything its my fault and don’t call back again . I asked for the manager but she would not get on the phone . I asked if the would pay for y Dr appointment and the guy laughed
