What User doesn't like about Giddiup Cafe:
Met a friend for coffee prior to market shopping. Sat on one of the few tables outside, had to order inside and drinks brought out to us. Coffee was average and disappointing for the area. Did venture inside to use the bathroom. The food on display looked good and the tables in the small inside space were all full. Might try the food in the future but wouldn't go back for coffee. I always grab the 3 salad + protein selection which always provides a bit of variety for lunch and the salads are very fresh. The prices are a bit expensive for what it is but the staff are very attentive to my dietary needs.
Giddiup produces great coffee and some excellent meals. I visited twice while in Melbourne and both times I was impressed with the meals, whether the salad or an eggs based brunch.
I come here for my takeaway coffees rather than 'Che Dre. Populated with hipsters, yummy mummies and single prof female types. Quality product, so I don't mind.
This is one of the buzzing cafes in the south melbourne area during the weekend brunch. The coffee here is good and so are the breakfast choices. I love my toasts here that come with amazing jams. The avo mash is a gastronomical delight. The price could be a little reasonable to delivery more value for money.
