Flames Of India - Melbourne

The food at Flames of India is exceptional and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the spicy samosa chaat and papdi chaat, prepared in the traditional Indian style. The service was also excellent.

The restaurant offers delicious food at a reasonable price, excellent service, and stays open late until 2 am. I will definitely return to satisfy my cravings for Indian cuisine.

This seems to be a typical Indian bargaining trait. Upon looking at the menu, it was clear that the Veg Thali was refillable. The food came out very hot, clearly microwaved. The Naan was too hot to touch for the first few minutes. The Dahl Makhani and Lentils were pretty good - not too spicy and cooked perfectly with great flavor. I would eat it three times a week. It could use a bit more salt, but it's fine. The mixed vegetables reminded me of Minestrone soup without pasta. The taste wasn't bad, but it was very liquidy. The odd pickles were refillable, although I didn't see them on the Thali. The rice was cooked very well with no issues. I'm giving it a 4-star rating because it was clearly microwaved.

Nice place for a proper Indian food.Average rates as of other Indian restaurants.The rotis/chapatis/breads are very soft and nicely cooked.The Dal tadka/fry is one of the best!

Great food. Really annoying that you can 't just order a curry on its own. Just give the to option turn it into a 'meal '. Have the menu on delivery apps to be the same as your actual menu!
