Had breakfast here on Sunday morning well it was more brunch actually.Fabulous eggs benedictine and coffee. Thoroughly recommend. Fast and courteous table service. Alot of the other cafes in Degrave Lane and surrounding laneways you have to pay upfront before you receive your food and then wait ages to be served but it's proper table service here and they don't squash you in like they do in some of the other cafes. I'm a Melbournian who loves dining in our laneways. I popped into this café for the 1st time to grab lunch and the experience was truly terrible.I ordered soup and a calmer sutra chai tea. The soup never arrived - I had to leave after half an hour. The staff claimed that it was just '2 minutes away' but surely it does not take 32 minutes to heat and serve soup. My wife and I were looking for somewhere different to have breakfast, apart from Hotel breakfasts, when we discovered this little gem. Warmly welcomed at the door and shown a table with a friendly smile. The service was very good as were the meals. Very good breakfast and different, Moroccan eggs with chorizo and scrambled eggs with capsicum served with great coffee and tea. When we are back in Melbourne next the Euro Lane Café will be getting another visit. Well done.
Everything was fine, but it was just ok and not more. Burger arrived well after the other meals and coffee was average.
Fabulous cafe. Small, clean, fast service and a well oiled team that produces great food in a tiny, tiny kitchen. The cafe was packed this morning so plates took a little while to come out but lovely sized meals (not enormous, not small) and very nicely presented. The avo mash is divine and wonderful fresh juices. Will revisit for sure!
Situé dans le prolongement de la "Degraves Street". Service rapide. Le big breakfast est bon. Le rapport qualité prix est correct.

Secondly, I regularly drink calmer sutra chai tea at other Melbourne cafes and either they're not using calmer sutra chai to make their tea or they're not brewing it correctly because it tasted horrible.
