Etto Pasta Bar - Melbourne

Came here before the marathon. Amazing pizza and pasta, quick service, friendly staff. Only a small seating area. Better off taking away.

I came here to grab a takeaway dinner for myself whilst staying in a hotel nearby. I was pretty happy with the meal, except that I inadvertently ended up with mushroom on my pizza that I had to pick off. But it is just as...likely that u didn't realise that's what the menu said. I went for the three cheese pizza and a garlic bread. The truffle oil on the pizza had a very strong smell, but wasn't an overpowering taste. The garlic bread was great, but the pizza would have been more than enough food by itself. A good place to try, and I'd be happy to go back.

I came here for a quick pasta lunch. Went with meatballs and fettuccine. It certainly hit the spot and was very filling. While not the fanciest pasta dish, it was still tasty.

According to The Urban List Melbourne, this is one of the best carbonara dishes in the city. It's from Etto Pasta Bar in South Melbourne. I'm not sure if it's the best yet, as it's the only one I've tasted here. However, it did...not disappoint! The sauce was thick, creamy and flavoured with garlic crème. The carbonara was also loaded with smoky pancetta and I added extra mushrooms. The pasta was cooked al dente, which added extra bite to every mouthful.

Ordered a spaghetti carbonara amd a mac cheese for delivery last night when I opened the carbonara the smell was awful. Took one bite and I could tell the cream was off. The Mac cheese was very strong on the cheese and...very heavy. Never will I order from them again. I mean you work all week and all I wanted was to order in and watch a movie... Paid a lot of money for 2 pasta dishes and Parmesan chips
