Was Anonym at East Elevation a mag?
This place is one of my favourites. The food is always excellent. An edgy little menu and amazing specials board. Very friendly service. Coffee and tea is excellent, with tea served in lovely little tea sets. It has a trendy feel to it with a casual and funky sitting and very relaxed feel. They are happy to split bills, in fact when asked the manager said "oh we encourage you to split the bill". We sat for hours and... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about East Elevation:
Great interior design of a converted warehouse cafe. Lots of space for groups and friends. Chai lattes were horrible though, didn't taste tea leaves and was just like drinking diluted plain milk. Staff ok, hit and miss. They should smile and have better customer service tho instead of feel fed up. Food soso, I would only go here for the vibe. View all feedback.

Have been coming here for years and the menu hasn’t changed besides some slight variations. I’ve always enjoyed my vegan meals here. The eggplant and bean dish is my favourite but I tried the ginger/ apple porridge and it was yummy! A hot chocolate is a must here, the best in Melbourne. I didn’t give 5 stars only because most of the staff never smile and pretty arrogant attitude for some reason but the food/atmosphere makes me come back.
I came across this restaurant when they were serving a Stuffed Sweet Potato dish that sounded amazing, but unfortunately it was no longer on the menu. Instead, I tried the Heirloom Tomatoes on toast with feta and basil oil. The dish was simple, fresh, and tasty, and I felt satisfied without feeling overly full afterwards. I am still thinking about how delicious it was and would definitely return to order it again. The menu may be a bit unconventional for picky eaters, but if you appreciate a variety of foods and flavors, you will love it. The coffee was great and while the prices may be a bit high, I was more than happy to pay for such well-made, fresh food.
I had an amazing dining experience at East Elevation. The food was incredible, with the King Swiss Mushrooms and award-winning Croque Monsieur standing out as some of the best dishes I have ever had. The attention to detail and use of home-grown ingredients, like the mushrooms, truly made the flavors shine. The service was top-notch, with every staff member making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate was a highlight for drinks, as it was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall, East Elevation stands out with its quality food and excellent execution, making it one of the best cafes in Melbourne in my book. I can't wait to go back!
Had breakfast with a couple of people on a Monday morning. It was easy to get a seat. Lovely and patient service good coffees. Big menu with lots of choice. I had the mushroom dish, which was a bit bland, wouldn't take it again. I do think $7 for a dirty soy chai is very very steep.
I love this beautiful cafe in the heart of Brunswick. It has the most amazing fitout, with an industrial feel that is sleek but cosy. Also home to Monsieur Truffe chocolate, this is a fabulous place to come for a chocolate fix.<br/ <br/ Staff are warm and welcoming, and we are always served promptly. The hot chocolate here is amazing, as is the coffee; and I find it difficult to go past the chocolate filled pastries which are always mouth wateringly good. East Elevation is definitely a great place to chill and relax over a coffee or two.<br/

I love this place, the food is consistently good, the staff great and it’s a lovely atmosphere not too hip but fun I tried the chilli got chocolate today a total recommendation
I joined a group of friends that goes to this venue as locals. Because I was travelling from the SEburbs, I happened to be running 30mins late. On arrival, my coffee order was taken promptly and delivered swiftly. I had ordered quite some time after...the group had ordered, however after their meals had been delivered, I don't think I waited longer than 5mins for my food to arrive and I was quite surprised by this. I had the big breakky with bacon (to die for), sausage, poached eggs, spinach, tomato and kasundi on sourdough. Food was great, good coffee. The bill was able to be split. The spacious industrial space is adorned with live plants inside, with a trendy feel. A pleasant place to spend brunchtime.
We stopped here after a recommendation, and weren't disappointed. The place was light and airy, with an industrial feel with the interior decor. My partner had the Pork Belly, and I had the Corned Beef Hash. Neither of us left anything on the plate, the...food was that good. With coffees and lunch, the cost came to around $50.00, money we thought was well spent.
We visited on several occasions on a recommendation from a friend, on opening a big red door and stepping inside your immediately drawn to the bare brick interior with indoor plants everywhere, very hipster but not too much to deter. The menu was varied and...quite substantial. It’s a big building and the tables aren’t jammed in so there’s plenty of space. I chose the black pudding with cavalo Nero and poached eggs it was cooked fresh and was excellent. There also is a small chocolatier inside too making exceptional chocolate very expensive at 11 dollars a bar but very good
This is one of the first-class breakfast places in brunswick. also a chocolate factory. famous for its crock. pork sandwich baked with white sauce above. all food beautiful style. coffee super. always put a shower with yuppies. .
