Was Anonym at East Elevation a mag?
This place is one of my favourites. The food is always excellent. An edgy little menu and amazing specials board. Very friendly service. Coffee and tea is excellent, with tea served in lovely little tea sets. It has a trendy feel to it with a casual and funky sitting and very relaxed feel. They are happy to split bills, in fact when asked the manager said "oh we encourage you to split the bill". We sat for hours and... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about East Elevation:
Great interior design of a converted warehouse cafe. Lots of space for groups and friends. Chai lattes were horrible though, didn't taste tea leaves and was just like drinking diluted plain milk. Staff ok, hit and miss. They should smile and have better customer service tho instead of feel fed up. Food soso, I would only go here for the vibe. View all feedback.

I have been to this restaurant over twenty times and will always return.

East Elevation is a great place for breakfast. Service is spot on and the choices available satisfy your appetite just by reading the menu. Food full of flavour and excellently presented. Certainly worth a visit and will be back for seconds. Try the chocolate when you're there. Worth the effort.

Came here with friends as this was highly reviewed for Hot Chocolate.First and foremost - Parking is a challenge, no car parks, so you have to take your luck on the main road or a side street, this place is better to arrive by Tram as it stops pretty much outside the door.First Impressions - medium sized cafe that is well decorated and has very friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of tables ranging from accomodating 2-4 people and the odd larger tablet to accomodate an army.Service was spot on. Very attentive and once ordered, the drinks arrived in 5min.Hot chocolates on offer will appeal to many people; kids and adults alike. From their traditional to alcoholic you will be in your "happy place"We went for the Monsieur Truffle hot chocolate, 70% single origin (kids and standard size) and The Peanut & Hazelnut. They were light and had a good depth of flavour, not overly thick though, a slightly thicker consistency to a latte. I did find it wasn't overly smooth either, a tad grainy.Taste for both the Monsieur and the Peanut was good and for most, represents a delicious warm drink. As mentioned I wish I was smoother and slightly thicker. The biscotti and the raw salted caramel slice were both delicious and recommended.Restrooms - more restrooms than required for the amount of seats.SUMMARYA great cafe that I need to explore the food and standard coffee as it looks amazing!Hot chocolate wise, is this the best in Melbourne? No, get me wrong, it is very good good but not as good as my expectations had been set.My recommendation would be to try one of the special hot chocolates ($10 each) as it will be a unique experience compared to the standard drinks on offer.Service Efficiency. 5/5Atmosphere/Ambiance. 4/5Quality of Hot Chocolate. 4/5Price Range (Low, Medium, High): MediumFree Wi-fi?: NoDo they accept AMEX/Diners Club Cards?: YesValue for money. 4/5Availability of Restrooms. 5/5Parking Availability. 3/5Total 25/30

Loved this place! Great atmosphere and beautiful food and coffee. We also bought some handmade chocolates which were delicious!

We stumbled across the premises whilst looking for somewhere for lunch. We were impressed with the decor and chilled vibe, prompt efficient service and yummy food. Just a great place to relax with nothing seeming to be to much effort. Thanks guys and girls for making it memorable.

Have been coming here for years and the menu hasn’t changed besides some slight variations. I’ve always enjoyed my vegan meals here. The eggplant and bean dish is my favourite but I tried the ginger/ apple porridge and it was yummy! A hot chocolate is a must here, the best in Melbourne. I didn’t give 5 stars only because most of the staff never smile and pretty arrogant attitude for some reason but the food/atmosphere makes me come back.

I came across this restaurant when they were serving a Stuffed Sweet Potato dish that sounded amazing, but unfortunately it was no longer on the menu. Instead, I tried the Heirloom Tomatoes on toast with feta and basil oil. The dish was simple, fresh, and tasty, and I felt satisfied without feeling overly full afterwards. I am still thinking about how delicious it was and would definitely return to order it again. The menu may be a bit unconventional for picky eaters, but if you appreciate a variety of foods and flavors, you will love it. The coffee was great and while the prices may be a bit high, I was more than happy to pay for such well-made, fresh food.

I had an amazing dining experience at East Elevation. The food was incredible, with the King Swiss Mushrooms and award-winning Croque Monsieur standing out as some of the best dishes I have ever had. The attention to detail and use of home-grown ingredients, like the mushrooms, truly made the flavors shine. The service was top-notch, with every staff member making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate was a highlight for drinks, as it was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall, East Elevation stands out with its quality food and excellent execution, making it one of the best cafes in Melbourne in my book. I can't wait to go back!

Had breakfast with a couple of people on a Monday morning. It was easy to get a seat. Lovely and patient service good coffees. Big menu with lots of choice. I had the mushroom dish, which was a bit bland, wouldn't take it again. I do think $7 for a dirty soy chai is very very steep.

I love this beautiful cafe in the heart of Brunswick. It has the most amazing fitout, with an industrial feel that is sleek but cosy. Also home to Monsieur Truffe chocolate, this is a fabulous place to come for a chocolate fix.<br/ <br/ Staff are warm and welcoming, and we are always served promptly. The hot chocolate here is amazing, as is the coffee; and I find it difficult to go past the chocolate filled pastries which are always mouth wateringly good. East Elevation is definitely a great place to chill and relax over a coffee or two.<br/
