Corner Lane Cafe - Melbourne

I have visited this restaurant frequently as I pass by it every day on my way to school or elsewhere. This is my favorite place because the staff is very friendly and always remembers me when I return. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from, and I particularly enjoy their iced coffee.

The food is great and the coffee is good. However the things I like the most about the place is the ambiance. It is really comfy and cozy, it is one of hidden gem around city. The staff is really friendly which is a plus : .

Popped by for a relaxing breakfast this morning and had their brekky deal $8.90 for eggs your way on toast with bacon and a coffee. I was able to swap the bacon for mushrooms. The place has got a simplistic fit out but comfy enough with quite a number of tables. My cappuccino was quite nice and the mushrooms with my eggs on toast were well sauteed and seasoned. However, I would've preferred multigrain or sourdough instead of white bread. Eggs were also poached well runny and gooey yolk, yay. I would gladly return for this brekky deal again or try some of the other options. They also have quick takeaway choices like small salads, sandwiches, wraps etc. <br/

Love this place so much! <br/ I like the environment that clean, bright, warm and cozy.<br/ My favorite meals are big breakfast and mochaccino. But i also can recombine my own breakfast. Not just a boring bacon and egg, but also some stuff that i loved like mushroom and avocado.<br/ <br/ The OJ (orange juice), it will never as fresh as the corner lane has!! Love their OJ.

As a uni student over the road, I visit the Corner Lane Cafe 2 days a week, multiple times a day! Fantastic coffee (would have 3-4 per day)! A great range of lactose free/soy/almond milk and always prepared amazingly (lactose intolerant people understand this is not easy to come by). Food is delicious with so many options! The staff are just beautiful and always happy to help with anything! Very well priced too! Highly highly recommend!!!
