Stopped in mid-morning for quick pitstop before visiting the market. Whilst the hot chocolates were a hit with the kids and the lattes were very, very good, it was the warmed castagnaccio, a chestnut, raisin and rosemary cake that was outstanding. It was just gorgeous. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Coffea Cafe:
This place has some of the best coffee in Melbourne but the food side is very average. Salads are extraordinary expensive for very small serves. Simply go there for a good coffee but give lunch a miss. There are heaps better value places around the market . View all feedback.
Great place to stop for a nice coffee and a biscotti during my morning run. It's the perfect break to recharge and keep going.
I have been avoiding caffeine for over eight years now, and during that time I have struggled to find good decaf coffee at cafes - often finding it to be akin to drinking muddy water. However, today was a pleasant surprise. I had a delicious long black coffee with a rich crema, delightful aroma, and a robust yet complex flavor. It was so good that I ended up buying a bag of the blended beans! The cafe is conveniently located just outside the Queen Victoria Market, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing coffee break after shopping.
Good coffee. Not much food selection. Friendly service
Located beside the Vic Market it offers very good coffee and a great range of coffee making equipment.
