Conveniently located right near Her Majesty's Theatre. We dinner here before a theatre visit & they were very mindful of getting us out in time which was good. The food was the freshest & best Chinese (or Cantonese) I've had in a very long time. Service was amazing, nice atmosphere & reasonable pricing. Will certainly be going back on my next visit to Melbourne. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chine on Paramount:
We came early without a booking and were able to get a table for 2. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated and the staff were polite. Our entrees and drinks were good and served in good time but they obviously forgot to bring our main course. We waited and waited without any staff asking if we wanted anything. When we asked we were told our meal was in the wok now. Just as we were thinking of leaving, the food arrive... View all feedback.
The service at this restaurant was outstanding and fast. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Additionally, they have a private dining room available for family gatherings.
We love coming here everytime we are in Melbourne. we come from country Victoria and it's so nice to know we will always eat well when come down. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. The food is always amazing no matter what we order.
We booked a Exploring private menu with the boss in the new function room, always a quality food and good service for us. especially, the frozen snow crab in baijiu and leopard coral grouper.
Still a lovely premium restaurant for a good meal in Chinatown. Having eaten here periodically for over 10 years I still love the food quality. Today I ordered scallops in ginger sauce along with a small special fried rice again enjoyed a flavoursome meal. The service provision was unfortunately overshadowed when other customers were given hot face washers automatically, whereas I had to ask for mine after my meal, suggesting a lack of consistency in procedure. The restaurant still has it's great tranquil ambience assisting one to relax away from the hustle bustle of city life.<br/ <br/ Phill Jury (food critic writer)
Great value. After walking all day in and around Melbourne we were looking for a great meal at a good price and Chine on Paramount delivered! Pork dumplings and wonton soup entrees were great. For mains we had special fried rice, honey chicken and beef satay. I highly recommend the beef satay! Service was excellent and attentive, a great experience!
