Contribute FeedbackMixed reviews have been received for this restaurant, with some customers expressing disappointment in the poor service they received. Long waits for food and drinks, confusion over bookings, and rushed and disorganized service were common complaints. However, positive feedback was also given, with praise for the delicious food, particularly the pasta dishes and main courses. The outdoor area was highlighted as a beautiful setting for dining. Overall, while some issues were noted with service and organization, the quality of the food and the ambiance of the restaurant were enjoyed by many patrons.
It was absolutely so loud, we didn’t get water for 15 minutes of being there. Our whole experience was quite manic
Upon arrival we entered the hustling and bustling restaurant to check in only to be told to return outside to the pavement in front of Grill, the jointly owned neighbouring establishment, 'where the laptop was '. We were then promptly instructed to sit outside as inside dining was full (noticeable untrue). The outside seating was without heating (it was 11 degrees) and without light, so not dissimilar to camping. We were having none of this so pursued a waitress with intent and after 10 mins we were finally seated inside at 2 small round tables pushed together. It felt like an achievement. We were full of hope. After asking for menus we made our selections and then waited. And waited. As the odd waitress scampered past I was able to eventually flag one down to take our order, including a bottle of wine. Things were looking up when napkins, cutlery and Diet Coke arrived. As did two wine glasses. Time passed. Bread and oil arrived. Then another small entree. We could see our bottle of wine, unopened, behind us on the counter. We managed to flag down the same scampering waitress to ask if we could please have our wine. She collected it, presented it for inspection at the table and then inexplicably returned it to the counter. As the entree was consumed, Simone decided to take matters into her own hands and got up, retrieved the bottle and asked a bar staff for a bottle opener to open it herself. Mysteriously a waitress arrived to open the bottle and in her haste left much of the foil seal around the opening and proceeded to just pour the wine over it, into the glass. Suddenly and unexpectedly, another waitress implored us to move tables, which involved shifting ourselves and one small table and chair across the floor. Not to mention everything ON the table
We had made a reservation for indoor seating, but were seated outside instead. Although there are heaters and umbrellas provided, this could pose an issue if it starts raining.
The food was incredible. I would love to eat here every night if I could.
Amazing food and wine. This is always the top choice before a show at the theatre.
