I have always wanted to try the grilled fish here, but my partner doesn't like that kind of dish. We ended up ordering a few items from the 'snack' menu instead. What whitepointer doesn't like about Caribbean grilled fish:
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered their Signature beer sauce dish with Barramundi/Murray cod, but was disappointed when the waiter spilled half a bottle of beer onto my meal. The dish was served in a tray with a burner that kept the liquid boiling hot, making it impossible to eat without burning yourself. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the staff due to my limited Chinese, but they have an iPad with photos of the dishes which helped. They do charge a 1% fee for credit card payments. Overall, the service was fast and efficient. I would give it a rating of 4.5/5.

The dish was served in a tray with a burner that kept the liquid boiling hot, making it impossible to eat without burning yourself. The meal consisted mostly of vegetables, sauce, and a whole fish, resulting in an overcooked soup-like texture. The limited menu options, combined with expensive prices, made the overall value poor. I would not recommend this place to others.
I have always wanted to try the grilled fish at this restaurant, but my partner isn't a fan, so we decided to order a few items from their 'snack' section instead. There isn't a lot of variety if you don't choose their signature BBQ/grilled fish. We tried the fried bread, dumplings, and BBQ chicken wings, all of which were delicious. Unfortunately, I had trouble understanding the staff due to my limited Chinese, but they do have an iPad with photos of the dishes to help. I think this place is awful, I ordered their Signature flavoured beer sauce(Barramundi/Murray cod). It arrived at the table with a full bottle of beer . On placing the bubbling tray on the table the waiter tipped the bottle of beer over the meal....It was absolutely ridiculous, beer sauce ended up being beer. The dish is served in a tray that has inbuilt burner that keeps the liquid burning hot. It is seriously bubbling away throughout the entire meal and the food cannot be put into your mouth or it will scold. That means every time something is taken from the tray it must sit in your bowl to cool to an acceptable level. This results in overcooked food and frustration because you cant turn the temp down. The next thing I didn't like was the way the meal was put together, its a lot of vegetables a sauce and a whole fish. It ends up like an overcooked soup, certainly not the way i think whole fish should be presented. The style of cooking is said to be Szechuan cuisine. Their is limited choice on the menu and with a couple of drinks and sides will cost over I think its a waste of money and poor value overall.
