Was Evie Bergstrom at Caffe e biscotti a mag?
What is it with all the cafes in the block arcade area. Same menus, same prices. But this place has porridge! Just what I needed on a cold morning. It was not quite right but the waitress happily brought me honey to sweeten it up. Otherwise perfect. We also had scrambled eggs with salmon. Perfect as expected. Not a bad place for breakfast. What Fred Jast dislikes about Caffe e biscotti:
We just had lunch here and it was completely terrible and ruined our day. We didn’t get the right drinks we ordered even though they assured us that they were, and then we still had to pay for them. The salads and healthy bowl were...terrible! Basically just spinach and olive oil but you pay $20 for it. The manager was so rude to us and really ruined our day. We would never come back here and will make sure to spread... View all feedback.

I finally figured it out Tourists eat in the alleyways residents don't You walk around confused and a greeter lures you in OK well that decision was
Out of towner, walking the CBD early I came across this cafe. Friendly staffer who wished me good morning as I walked by suggested brekky special, $14.50 for eggs poached or scrambled with bacon on toasted sourdough with rocket, plus a coffee. Arrived promptly
Come down for yummy breakfast, brunch or just chilling out, having coffee and watching people walking by. Fantastic staff and great service. If you are in the CBD and have a great day of shopping make yourself a favour and visit this place in one of the coffee lanes of Melbourne and chill out. The place is in one of the lanes between Lt Colins and Collins St. Enjoy!

During our 5-day stay in Melbourne, we stumbled upon this hidden gem on our first day. It was worth the daily walk for a delicious coffee fix, as they serve some of the best coffee I have ever tasted! I highly recommend stopping by Caffe E Torta to truly experience a taste of Melbourne.
Went to Melbourne for the tennis and ate breakfast here every morning. Tastiest breakfast ever, poached eggs bliss and amazing sourdough!
What a great find had my sister and brother in law from the uk perftect place for lunch food was fanatic great service a joy to go there
At 1pm on a Sunday I had a lovely waitress provide polite, courteous, fast service from start to finish. Food was delicious $11 side greens plate) and a lovely coffee with some fancy late art. Normal food was highly priced, hence my side salad. However, to chose to sit at arguably Melbourne's most famous arcade comes with the acceptance of exorbitant rents, so I wasn't surprised, and no stars were lost here for high prices.
Service was good. Cozy little spot. High priced for what you get especially when we had similar breakfast the previous morning for half the cost and near half again the amount. :Added edit: The business keeps track of thier reviews which is lovely to see. Especially within 24 hours of the post which I've rarely seen. Shows interest in what people say.
