What User doesn't like about Cafe N Addictions:
I'm a local resident.And we are privileged in Ivanhoe to have many good cafes and restaurants. I was disappointed at the quality of the food today. The poached eggs in the eggs Benedict were poorly cooked. It's ok for he yolk to be somewhat runny however the egg white in this instance was runny and transparent and clearly still needing further cooking. The yolk was also similarly essentially uncooked. I bought a breakfast burger and I asked politely for no bacon and added salmon instead. I still got bacon on it. I didn’t want a surf n turf burger… I paid extra to get it delivered and the picture pretty much shows, what kind of mess I got. Definitely not worth the 32$ I paid. Never again….. :
Have been there twice . Good coffee and excellent meals and snacks . ideal for breakfast and brunch . Service staff helpful and pleasant . You can eat inside or the outdoor courtyard with gas heaters for the cold weather
Very impressed with our first visit while out on our daily Covid safe walk. The coffee was absolutely delicious. Rich and substantive with great length. It’s mighty good coffee. Our snack was a cracker too. Roti with avocado, bacon and chicken. Yummy. Service was lovely as well. We will be back very soon!
Ordered some food off Uber eats, was to say the least “dissatisfying” I got what I thought was a stack of pancakes but ended up being a “stack of pancake”. And then to top it off my hash brown had been morphed into my side of Ice cream.
A group of us made an unscheduled visit to this cafe for brunch. Probably the best customer service I have experienced for some time. The man in charge was very welcoming, efficient, nothing was a problem. A good menu with lots of options for breakfast brunch. The group had a selected a variety of meal options from the menu and were all happy with their selection and the generous servings.
