After dining at Buddah Thai, I was left with a mixed impression. The food was delicious, although I felt it could have been even better if I had been more sober. The staff were friendly, despite my late arrival. They underestimated the wait time for my meal, serving me in half the time I was told. The walk back home was longer than expected, but it allowed my takeout Thai food to cool to the perfect eating temperature. Overall, I would definitely give this restaurant another chance.
The food at this restaurant is incredibly fresh with bold flavors. We were all very impressed and satisfied with our meals. The interior decor is nice, although some may not appreciate the distressed Courier font. The presentation of the rice is unique, but the portions are a bit small. You may want to order extra to match the generous curry portions. Overall, the food is delicious and I definitely plan on returning.
Just dined in this fresh clean Thai restaurant on our way home to the Peninsula. Food proved tasty and hot and was served promptly. The fresh orange slices served at the end of the meal to cleanse the palate were a delightful extra touch. A restaurant we will return to when travelling to the northern suburbs.
The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible! We called twice to inquire about a late delivery order and were lied to both times, being told the driver had left 10 minutes ago each time. After waiting over 2 hours with no delivery in sight, we called for a third time only to be met with very rude customer service representatives who had no idea about our order. We will never order from this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for reliable delivery service or honest customer service.
Went to this local join recently. We thought it was a little bit pricey for a Thai place, but we stayed and ordered anyway. We shared a mixed entre which was awesome. Satay chicken skewers, samosa, fish cake and spring rolls. I then ordered the Red Thai curry, which I will probably judge all future curries against. My partner had a satay pad thai, which was a little disappointing as the noodles were not really up to scratch, however, the satay tasted amazing. For desert I tried the banana dumpling with coconut ice cream. It was really nice and the whole evening cost around $75 including $5 corkage for our wine. Service was good, ambiance was good, however try not to pay by credit card as they charge extra for that. All in all a good Thai experience. Would recommend to everyone if it was a little cheaper. They do a cheaper menu for deliveries, which is available on their website. A plus.
