What Millie Beer doesn't like about Bella Cosi:
Visited with friends and looked at the menu and offerings on display but they were all cakes, pastries and pies with a menu of pizza or fried dishes. The breakfast selection did have some healthy options but I couldn't find anything for lunch. There was a variety of foods to choose and people seemed happy with their choice but not for me. I was a bit disappointed with the coffee too as it was too milky for me with les... View all feedback.
This great place I have now visited twice. The staff are so friendly and the service fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is good too. Definitely worth a visit.
Stopped in the way into Melbourne hoping to grab a bite of lunch before check in . Found this little place with great atmosphere and food. Service was excellent and the kids loved it also. Thanks it was yummy!
My partner and I regularly visit here for brunch on weekends. The owner is lovely, she always has a smile, one of her sons is the barista and the other a pastry chef. It is a local treasure located between Bay St and The Pier on Beach Road. The coffee would have to be one of the best in the Port Melbourne area and we have never had a bad experience. Service is quick and try the breakfast sliders or if you are a large breakfast try the protein breakfast. My partner loves the Nutella donuts as a treat which are made fresh daily.
Random choice walking past and so pleased to not be disappointed with warm friendly service and a delicious menu on offer . Casual lunch from a wide choice of substantial meals freshly prepared in house . Plenty of vegan and carnivore options Kerbside looking at the busy Port Melbourne activity or inside seating choices Nice find ....will be back
After a very long day and not in a good mood happened upon this restaurant. Can't say enough about the service and food. Even though it was after 2pm and the kitchen was closed. We had the best meal from their counter selection. They close at 3pm. We chose the Shepherds Pie and Spanakopita followed by Apple Strudel. Delicious and all served by the owner Marisa and her sons. I was greatly impressed by her handling a very demanding and disgruntled woman who was unimpressed not to be able to order from the kitchen after arriving after 2pm. She handled the matter diplomatically and that party of women after eating left very happy they had stayed.Bravo Marisa
