Amania - Melbourne

The food is absolutely amazing. I haven't been to any other restaurant quite like this one. The chef came out to personally thank us when we told the waiter to tell the chef that the naan bread was so soft and the roti bread was perfectly flakey and crispy, melting in the mouth. This restaurant is truly a gem waiting to be discovered. Prices are so reasonable!

Tried this place recently for take away and will definitely give it another go. Peshwari naan was delicious and the curries were flavoursome and yummy! Glad to have found this place to add to my take away listings!

Was a bit unsure about ordering from this place, but thought I'd give them a go since my usual Indian place wasn't open yet for delivery. It arrived in about 30-40 mins, the delivery driver couldn't find my house but he called and I gave him directions. Food was good and still hot. I ordered a mild butter chicken, it was a bit sweeter than I like but the gravy was thick and you could still see the cream on top. Also ordered a prawn curry and it was super hot and spicy but enjoyable. A lot of chicken and prawns for the ratio of sauce so very happy. The veg samosa wasn't the best, the dough was too thick. Ordered gulab Jamuns and they were very nice. Wish I had got 2 because the kids faught over them. The free papadums was a nice touch!

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but I personally thought the restaurant was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back. The only downside was that the delivery driver didn't have change. The food was delicious with lovely spices, although the papadums could have been cooked a bit longer.
