540 on Barkly - Melbourne

Pleasant staff who were very attentive. Entree was a very generous serve and delicious. Main of steak, bacon, mushroom pie with roast veg everything I hoped for. Loved the Two Birds Golden Ale. Hope they do really well.

A nice little modern pub on Barkly. The menu offers great choice, definitely try the meatballs and calamari. A few different types of beer on offer such as Sunshine and Footscray. Upstairs seems to get really noisy with the downstairs area much quieter and better suited for small groups or couples.

Our family love this restaurant. I organized a surprise birthday party for my husband, it was great. Finger food was great, plenty of it, no one went hungry. Service was great and Simon was a big help. Our family eat at this restaurant quite frequently and we love the food and service. Everyone there is very welcoming.

Services are excellent and efficient. We were served straight-away. Family friendly restaurant where many locals visited. We ordered lamb gnocchi and calamari rings and chips. Perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

Have been there about 3 times and find it very noisy even with only a few people due to a very stark interior. Meals were Ok but not outstanding, Staff were pleasant. Really competing against Pubs the way it is set up and its struggling to match them.
