300 Grams - Melbourne

300 grams used to be one of my favorite burger spots before I was diagnosed with coeliac disease. I was thrilled to learn that they offered gluten free buns and that their chips were generally safe for coeliacs. However, the first time I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun, it was very stale. I left a review on Google and they responded quickly and apologized. When I returned a few weeks later, the gluten free buns were much improved and fresh. I appreciate that they took action based on my feedback and I can definitely recommend them. One thing to note, a friend who works there informed me that during busy times, they may cook fried chicken in the same fryers as the chips. While the chip fryers are usually uncontaminated, it is not guaranteed so it's best to ask if you have coeliac disease.

Burger was ok , Nothin to rave about. Fries, cauli and chick bites were very good

The burgers here were reminiscent of the infamous Laurie Dee’s smash patty burgers which automatically means they were good. Only criticism I have (and I’m being very picky here) is that the 300 G sauce was overpowering at times in the burger. But then again, it wasn’t even a big problem. Also the fries were great. Needed a bit more salt but nonetheless they were still a 9/10. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger joint in the northern suburbs. I’ll be back again when I’m in need of a quality feed.
