very well located when traveling with the train. eating is “sub standard”, not somewhere for a high-quality culinary experience, but perfectly sufficient and very favorable. we have dimmed there before concerts in the hamer hall and the melbourne recital centre and will do this again. What User doesn't like about Clocks At Flinders:
The restaurant is conveniently located right by Flinders Street Station. The menu is quite unremarkable, so it's advisable to reserve a table for two before attending a show at Hamer Hall. The service was good. Unfortunately, my chicken was overcooked, but the other dish was not overboiled. View all feedback.
I have been to Clocks many times, and do not consider it just a restaurant, but a sort of club or community gathering place pity about the pokies, but I take no notice of them. I like the staff very much, and while the menu is small, the meals are always good, and piping hot.
Excellent food, great service! Value for money! good $12 cocktail specials at the weekend! We always stop here pre AFL Games! Go Pies! Great rewards program too!
Very basic, no frills food. Bistro area no ambiance. Such a shame the length of the whole venue which runs along the river, used to have a beautiful view but is now covered with pokies. Go the chicken wings on a Wednesday night if you are poor, they are $8 and they were tasty. Don’t order any mains.

This is the second time we have eaten at Clocks. Our table was ready for us and the food was very nice indeed. Our waitress was very friendly.
