from the main road, 192 , north haven not far from rt 1. free parking is available on the road and close to municipal lots. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. we went to st. patricks day and they were packed, so we decided to go our meals. our order, corn beef and cabbage was in approx. 20 minutes ready. the price was fair, perfectly cooked and the portions were above what we expected. we will try another... What User doesn't like about Meg O’malley's Irish Pub:
A lot has changed since before the pandemic. The Blarney Bowl is no longer..Meg's, that brought you down a full star. That's the first thing that my family and visitors requested. The points have been taken away. Many things have been removed from the menu, including the Prime Rib after 5:30, that brought you down another star. View all feedback.
Great and authentic Irish food, nice atmosphere and service. Highly recommend it if you visiting Melbourne area.
I had heard that this place was very good, and it lived up to that reputation. You have to try the $0.18 cup of soup, it was very tasty. Bangers and mash with dark gravy very good. Irish stew a bit light on the flavor. Shepards pie was very good. Fish and chips done perfectly and a large portion. Sandwich of the week was steak tips and onion rings, also very good. Good beer selection, priced at about $7.50 each. Wine a bit pricey. Food was really good. Wait staff was very responsive and had good personalities (we were at the bar and a table). We really enjoyed it, as did our relatives that were visiting. We would definitely go back.
Great food, service experience. Get the Irish Wake for dessert!
The food, dining environment experience and service were all wonderful experiences.
Every time you walk in, you turn Irish for your stay.
