Bella Vista - MEINA

Came across this lakeside restaurant one lunchtime and enjoyed a lovely seafood meal. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner a couple of nights later. Both times the food was excellent and the service was friendly, prompt and efficient. Very reasonably priced as well.

The food was fine but the service is absolutely terrible. I came for dinner on a Saturday night, when I was visiting town for a work conference. I was a single diner and they made me feel so uncomfortable. Spilled my wine all over the table when I purchased a bottle, didn't even allow me to taste it. The waiters couldn't be bothered to check on me, or offer pepper, cheese, nothing. When my 1st and 2nd courses came, the waiter literally threw them on my table and walked away. I feel so disrespected and embarrassed to be here. Worst dining experience I've ever had as a single diner and I wouldn't wish this treatment on anyone. When I complained the nasty maitre de tried to excuse it that they were busy (she said they had 60 diners but there were 5 waiters on staff that I saw, so that doesn't seem very busy). She became mean and rude when I complained about how I was treated. On top of it, I left a full plate of food and a bottle of wine, not only did they offer no discount for their rude treatment, but they over charged me. I will never come back and don't think they deserve to be in business.

A fabulous location, service with a smile and very friendly..and the food was most delicious..very innovative and had the Italian flair..would highly recommend it..

I and my family went from Milan to the lake major, and almost accidentally bumped into the restaurant Bellavista di meina, I really relaxed considering its position on the lake, relaxing and romantic, the abundant and really good and delicate dishes, very beautiful and well maintained inside the room, the outdoor verandas very cozy practically on the lake, clean bathrooms and professional staff very educated and attentive .vorrei give 5 stars but my vote is
