My friends and I went to have dinner at this restaurant. It was nearly empty around 9:00 PM, but the decor was nice. We asked the staff to ensure good cooling in the area where we were seated. The only meals I had at Golden Glory the restaurant at hotel Godwin was the buffet breakfast. The breakfast spread was ok but without labels. Also the most surprising thing was there was no fresh juice or canned juice in the spread. My friends and I went to have dinner at this restaurant. It was nearly empty around 9:00 PM, but the decor was nice. We asked the staff to ensure good cooling in the area where we were seated. We ordered the Godwin special dal (Mixed Dal), kadhai paneer, and dum aloo. The portions were decent and the dal and paneer were tasty. However, the dum aloo was disappointing. There were only six small pieces of potatoes in over half a liter of curry. When we brought this up with the staff, they added a few more pieces of potatoes to the same curry. The dish did not resemble dum aloo at all as there were hardly any potatoes. The Pudhina parantha was good. Overall, the food was good except for the dum aloo. Additionally, the atmosphere felt dull as there were very few customers.
I stopped by this restaurant on my way to Rishikesh and was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. The food was delicious and the location, right on the highway, made it easily accessible. It's a great spot to stop for a meal during a long drive and even makes for a great weekend getaway.
As this was a new hotel that had opened approximately a year ago, some of us decided to give it a try. The hotel was said to have amenities similar to those of a 5-star establishment, but being familiar with Meerut, we did not have high expectations. Despite a large variety of items listed on the menu, we were informed that several items were unavailable or could not be served. The dishes we did order were quite average in quality. From the lukewarm and bland soup to the ordinary main courses, both the non-vegetarian and vegetarian options left much to be desired. The only standout dish was the golden fried prawns as a starter. It is recommended for those willing to experiment and not easily disappointed. Overall, it seemed that the lack of management presence was the reason behind the restaurant's inefficiency and indifference. Not worth the money.

The items which I had namely utappa & aloo subji was good in taste.I hope the restaurant puts its training act inplace so that the customer gets value.
