Abu Ka Maqbara - Meerut

The red-colored stone building of Abu Ka Maqbara, located about one kilometer from Kesarganj on Delhi road, holds significant historical value. Constructed by Abu Mohammad Khan Kamboh for his father Sheikh Aitmad, the building features ionized domes and intricately carved columns. The Camboh dynasty, known for its architectural prowess, has erected several buildings in the city. The Abu Canal, originally Abu Nala, was built by the dynasty to supply water from the Kali River. Historian KK Sharma credits Abu Mohammad Khan for the construction of the Camboh Gate, highlighting the direct connection of the dynasty to the Mughal court of Delhi. According to museum president Manoj Gautam, the nine-storey building, supported by 20 double pillars, resembles an alaya. The high platform of the building houses six graves inscribed in Persian language. Surrounding the building are six bastions, although only one remains intact.

It was a fascinating experience to dine in this historic restaurant, but it was disheartening to see it in disrepair due to government negligence and uninformed interference. Urgent action is needed to preserve these important historical sites.

This restaurant is a very old and historic place by the sea. However, there are a lot of annoying people around, which takes away from its charm. Despite this, it is a significant milestone in the history of the sea.

Ab kuch nhi bcha, due to the recklessness of the gowt. and archaeological department, they can be in the daytime, and if they are interested in history and demkmälern it is a very interesting place for them, otherwise it is only an adda of anti-social people
