In Meersburg we have landed on the way back from Friedrichshafen. After an extensive tour in this beautiful city we decided to eat at the Almannen Torkel. The restaurant is not located directly on the lake, the ambience seemed cozy, it offered a good map and did not seem overpriced. That's exactly how it was: we chose soups, salads and a meat dish. The food and wine are delicious, the service forces are trying to organize places despite reservations. We wanted to have dinner on my birthday! We had reserved and were led to a table where a bouquet stood and decorated with heart! No one really knew I had a birthday and we wanted to eat here at that time.
