Went in to the pub for a drink, had to wait a while to be served despite there being several people behind the bar. Nice atmosphere and nice outside area, plenty of seating and looks out on to the castle. Only negative was a member of staff who spoke to us rudely about us eating an ice cream whilst we were being served. Proper jobs worth and needs to work on her manner when talking to customers. The food and drinks at this restaurant were outstanding. However, I had a negative experience with the staff who were rude to me because of someone I was with. Despite my attempts to address the situation, they blamed me for the poor service which seemed to be a reflection of their negative attitude towards customers on a Sunday, likely following a challenging Saturday night. It is unacceptable. I tried to defend them, but it was not enough.
The food at this restaurant was incredible. My partner had the Knight burger with cheese and bacon, and I had the club wrap. Both dishes came with chips and salad. Despite not being able to finish our meals, they were so delicious that we couldn't stop eating! We definitely needed a walk around town afterwards. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely view of the castle and cathedral.

Just went to watch the football with family. Manager was rude and unprofessional. Did shots at the bar and seemed drunk.
