Nice place to take a break and have coffee. It is a nicely set out shop with quite a bit of seating, good service, comfy seats, good toilets and outdoor seating. It is a bit out of the way so probably doesn't get much passing trade but was busy so word of mouth obviously works. View all feedback.
What FrankMiall doesn't like about Starbucks Chatham Quay:
Decided on a coffee and walk along the waters edge at dockside, lovely evening stroll. We wanted a coffee, went to Starbucks just down from creams . Nice inside, pleasant staff but the coffee was served in a polyethylene paper cup(rubbish why ? "They are closing in twenty minutes, ...well it would have been nice to be told. Ok did offer to change but I said not to worry. Coffee tasted ok sweet Carmel but was lukewarm... View all feedback.
The staff at this restaurant are fantastic. They manage the number of people entering and strictly enforce Covid rules. Thank you for your hard work, we couldn't have done it without you!
The staff were very polite and friendly as usual. However, the table I sat at was dirty but it was very busy. I waited a while for my coffee. It was cold and didn't taste like a frappe.
It’s a very nice place to relax. Lots of room, very clean. Service seems a bit slow but worth the short wait
I would start by saying I’m not a fan of Starbucks but this one could force me to change my view.It’s big, clean, atmospheric and warm in the winter and cool in the summer with some outside seating overlooking the marina .It’s coffee is well made , though for me all coffee shops should think again about their ridiculous cups. The pastries and food offer they do is fresh and tasty.So a very good coffee shop but with one unexpected twist. Occasionally you will see quite big name celebrities in there buying their coffee . Why ? Apart from the fact it’s good the Chatham historic dockyard , which is just a short walk away, is quite heavily used as a location for filming TV shows and films.Well worth visit8ng if you’re in the area.
Just visited this place and what seriously slow service,the staff were doing what they could but one on till/food cooking and one making coffees,queue is out the door!,sort the staffing out!
