Hogarth Inn - Medway

Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic value for money. I was blown away how good the Hogarth Inn is.

Friendly pub,a bit disappointed with the lack of ales on tap

Very much a locals pub, walked in with my missus, it went quiet. Fortunately it was a warm afternoon, so we took our drinks outside

Arrived, it was Dark, heavy smell of cigarettes, not a friendly welcome, empty pub. THEY DO NOT SERVE FOOD. Asked why the sign says Hot Home Cooked Food. The snarled reply was It 's an Old Sign After lockdown I would have thought they would be trying harder to reclaim lost custom.

Certainly one of the most popular hotels I stayed in the UK during my time! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on board and we were updated to the Paradise Suite. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was very flexible (to observe this! and the restaurant manager deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here that were of course added to the experience. On the second day we made a village trekking. I really enjoyed running the three of us through the village. The landscape was beautiful and it was a relief, on foot in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural bath at the end was a great way to finish the trekking. Note that this is not a 4/5 star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like at home. All respect for the General Manager, who does a good job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!
