I've been going to the Zucchini Blossom for years, and wanted to write on their superb new location. Truthfully it took awhile for it to grow on me, I think I was just so used to the European cafe style of the old venue that I was resisting the change, and it really is a great change! Open and bright with community tables and a lot of natural wood, it really works with the southern Alberta feel of the area. There is a great little patio outside and a second outside seating area. As with most places like this I come across I always advocate for more plants, nobody likes to sit in a parking lot. The food at the Blossom is incredible, and has been since time immemorial. I can not recall a bad meal, ever. The flavours are rich, and the ingredients fresh. The portions may seem small by North American standards, but trust me, due to the quality of the ingredients you will be full. Oh, and leave room for dessert, you won't be disappointed. All in all I just can't say enough good things about The Zucchini Blossom, definitely a must for a lunch date with a friend anytime.

Visit Medicine Hat frequently. Have been before, but first time in the new premises. The food was delicious, Counter service friendly and helpful, and the food service was quick. Worth a visit.

Great atmosphere. You can have coffee and dessert here or add on lunch and some shopping in their boutique foods section Great for a good visit with friends. Always busy.

Annual visit to the Hat it seems. ZB always producing excellent food and reassuring to take a first-time partner who raved about the coffee, the soup and salad and all beautifully presented on local pottery dishes.
