Contribute FeedbackTrukkers restaurant in Medicine Hat may disappoint with its unappetizing food, lack of COVID-19 precautions, and questionable staff behavior, but it redeems itself with friendly service, reasonable prices, and large portions. The interior is tastefully decorated, but some servers dress inappropriately. The menu may be dated, but the food is decent. Regulars praise the staff who always go above and beyond. While some dishes may be overcooked or bland, overall, Trukkers provides a reliable spot for a simple meal in the area. Recommended for a no-frills dining experience with friendly service and good value.
We had a veal cutlet, tasteless greasy meal, not worth eating this food. Unless you want fries and gravy go somewhere else.
We were extremely disappointed with Trukkers. It was recommended to us by locals, as we were visiting from out of town. They didn 't care about covid-19 precautions at all! By the time we got out of there, it was packed full. No spacing whatsoever. There was so mask enforcement (for people not sitting), no requirement for hand sanitizer, and we overheard the waitress tell other customers it 's not real, and we aren 't the cops, so who cares . We got out of there as soon as we heard that. The actual food was also unappealing. I ordered an omelette with pancakes. The food was literally just thrown on the plate. The omelette was bland and basic. And the plate that had my pancakes on it was covered in raw patter and one of the pancakes wasn 't even fully cooked. Absolutely do not recommend!
Home cooked food, great service and the prices are reasonable! Highly recommend for some good home cooked food!
This restaurant is locally owned and offers the best food at cheap prices with large portions and a wide selection. It also supports the community. What more could you ask for? If you're passing by, you need to try Trukkers.
We stopped in here for breakfast in July while visiting Medicine Hat and waiting for Costco to open. It is located on Highway 1 at the west end of Medicine Hat (Redcliff). A typical truck stop restaurant, looks like its been around for a while. I have averaged the rating. I would have given it 5 and my wife 3. I had ham and eggs and my wife bacon and eggs. Mine was excellent, but here eggs were a bit overdone and the hashbrowns not as hot as she likes. Waitress was nice and service good. Very good prices.
