What Pierina Costa doesn't like about Tops Steakhouse:
We hadn't had Tops in awhile and were looking forward to it. What a let-down. Everything was ice cold, pizza was soggy, lasagna was just a pile of dry noodles with no sauce, chicken cutlets were tough, chewy and cold and Caesar salad was old lettuce sopping in dressing. Went to Tops tonight and it was amazing! It's been a long while since we have been there due to bad food and service.
Came for a nice dinnerOur steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the chicken (I got mine done Cajun) was fantastic.
I've been eating there pizza for 30 years Still the best in town.
There is not much to say other than they have the best pizza in the city. We generally take out so I can't rate the service in the restaurant, but if you want to good pizza this is the place to go.
We have lived in this city for 10 years and thought we would try Tops. Big big mistake. Salt, my good is it free flowing in that kitchen? Unbelievable salted Chicken Parmigiana and the gravy for he fries. There was not one homemade item on my plate. Frozen fries, frozen breaded chicken that was burnt by the way. My wife was suppose to have prime rib, but was given a rib eye steak. No au jus which normally comes with prime rib. Frozen vegetables. Never to return.
