State Main Kitchen - Medicine Hat

I had an excellent dining experience with outstanding service. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly!

First Time, Good Service, Clean. Was not busy, ussual Pub Pricing. Was the only two people there on a Monday. Had a Bison Burger with Sweet Potatoe Fries and Colslaw, IPA was good. Was a Average Meal. Pub like setting with a Pub like Menu.

It was August 28th at 4 I went for chicken wings at State and Main I was served by a waitress who's name I believe was Cassie this lady is 5 all the way they're very lucky to have somebody that good. I ordered some chicken wings the first batch that they cooked I ate they were tasty but holy smokes the skin supposed to be crispy not the chicken. The second batch worse than the first how hard is it to cook chicken wings that's why I gave you guys a 3 and not a 5 I should give you a five because you hired Cassie and no i never met her before. The price was a good value even if it was not on special.i will try again next week.

I usually love this restaurant but that last 2 times have made me want to stay away. Ordered grilled chicken club in a wrap with no tomatoes this last time, it was flavorless and extremely greasy! The Ceasar salad and sweet potatoes fries were way more appetizing than the actual wrap. My husband ordered the main burger and the meat was flavorless, all he could taste was the cheese and the single pickle in his burger. If I'm going to come back I would only order appetizer and nothing else. Very disappointing.

I thought the environment would be very nice and they can have a good talk without drowning with noise. I tried the fish and chips. I have to say that the fish was perfectly cooked and the teig was really crispy as it should be. the prices are very reasonable. it was my first time, and I have to say it won't be my last. overall it was very clean and I would recommend it definitiw.
