Earls - Medicine Hat

We ended up there at happy hour by chance , it was great to enjoy the fish tacos at a fraction of the price ! Our server was absolutely awesome , so friendly and patient with our large group ! Unfortunately I didn't get her name.

Had a tough week so decided to try Earls for Supper on a Tuesday. Had not been there since they changed hands. Tuesday is 1/2 price for a bottle of wine. Good Start, and had a bottle of Quails Gate Gewurztraminer from the Okanogan Valley in BC. Excellent wine, my wife and I then discussed the menu with Jodie the waitress, who was always around but never in our face. Great Service. I had the 1/2 rack of ribs with warm potato salad and coleslaw. Meat literally falls off the bone and has a wonderful taste. My wife had the Hunan Kung Pow with Chicken, (No extra peppers) and the flavor was wonderful. For desert we had the warm chocolate banana cake, with rum, caramelized bananas, banana crème anglicize & walnut ice cream. Great way to share and finish off a wonderful evening.

We went in around 3pm and enjoyed appies and virgin cocktails. Really really good mocktails, huge selection of unique booze free drinks. We ordered the wings, spinach dip and tuna on wonton crisps. Good food, great service, nice ambiance.

Meal was great, Shelby is always so friendly and welcoming . Only complaint mixed greens no longer have apple or glazed pecans. It's basically a salad you can have at home.

Overpriced, small portions good tasting food. Excellent staff, and great location. Won't go back unless the issues above change. Still not a fan of Earls due to the political fiasco regarding Canadian beef. Unfortunate.
