Arby's - Medicine Hat

I thought I would check it out after I had heard that Arby's had "closed" and that it is now called John's. Anyway, I want through the drive thru (the dining room was closed) and I couldn't help but notice that all the signage that referred to the restaurant as Arbys was taken down. The electronic sign said "JOHN'S". I pulled up and noticed that the menu was a condensed Arbys menu. I had what was my favorite arbys item. Tasted just like Arbys. Things that make you go MMMMMM.

Stopped by to try the new John's Texas Chicken fast food restaurant (formally Arby's). Arrived shortly after 6pm and ordered after a short wait. After spending $32 for a basic 2-person chicken meal order - we waited about 30 mins. Not a lot of people in the restaurant. Still not served but had to go to the movie. After another 5 mins to track down the front counter person we had to leave without food or refund. This place was terrible - dirty, staff miserable and the wait excruciating. Biggest restaurant disappointment in a long while.

We always, always order Beef & Cheddar. Love their Arby's sauce. Both locations are good... in the Medicine Hat Mall as well as on TransCanada Way.

The sliced beef is tender and buns are fresh, but so ends the plus side, there is far to much salt in the beef, choice of condiments poor and no horse raddish. they offer a "horsey sauce" that is flavored mayonaise, even their half price promotions and coupons can't entice me to repeat the experience................b

I use to eat here but don't anymore. However driving by today I noticed is no longer and Arby's, It is called John's. Same menu exactly. Guess he got tired with franchise fees. LOL
