I love small family-owned restaurants that are not part of a chain. During a road trip, we noticed signs for Medical Lake and decided to stop by out of curiosity. My wife goes to that restaurant for coffee at least three times a week. She is familiar with most of the staff and always engages with them on a personal level.
Excellent coffee and cheerful, efficient service. You can even order hot coffee at a specific temperature. My wife loved her iced mocha. Highly recommended!
