Edelweiss - Mediaş

We had no high expectations after reading opinions, but we were amazed by the service and quality of food. And everything was very cheap! We'll be back!

This hotel is clean and have big rooms and baths. It is not a place youll remember or want to visit again but for 1 or 2 nights its ok. Itt have a very bad restaurant, bad food and not polite serving personal.

We went to this restaurant as part of a big crowd going for the Eastern lunch sponsorized by the priest at my mom's curch. For that type of atmosphere everything was OK. The food was decent and the service good. There were about at least 25 people to be served andf they did a good job on that. This was the first time when I've been to this place and it looked clean, oganized and kept in good shape. The restaurant was part of the hotel (they have three more levels on top where they have the hotel. I liked the common entrance to the reception and restaurant and the washrooms were clean and you can see that they put the effort in keeping everything how should suppose to be. i do not know the prices for this restaurant because I haven't paid for the meal myself.

The breakfast Buffet was poor, there are some pale sausages and omelette, cheese, ham, some vegetables, sliced bread and only 1sort of marmelade and honey. But the very best is that we got free artificial juice but had to pay for a glass of still water!!! Unique in the world! In the evening we took the restaurant speciality, which is beef Filet. We were Not asked by the waiter how the filet should be cooked and got it served more than done. Such a pity, since it was obvious that the quality of the meat was excellent! Last but not least: we asked to eat on the outdoor terrace but were informed that for some reason it was not open on that that day, only to realise by the end of the dinner that some people were actually eating there! We asked the waiter about this rather embarassing matter, he apologized but informed us that his boss was eating on the terrace. We then concluded that there was certainly a special treatment policy for important people like th boss of course which did not apply to average customers. This sums up the atmosphere of the restaurant.

A very good restaurant .excellent personal . As a vegetarian I met. no problems. The food was highly recommended
