We had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken, although we understood it was during t... read more The food was fantastic, but I was really let down by the service. We had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken, although we understood it was during the "Dining Under the Stars" event. As a non-meat eater, I made sure to order a pasta dish without any meat. However, when we started eating, we discovered there was meat in it. We brought this to the attention of our waiter, who then informed the manager. Unfortunately, she was rather rude and seemed to imply that we were lying. I felt that the situation could have been handled much better. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5, but the service and atmosphere only a 1.

Lumache was supposed to have some spicy sausage nudja, but there was none, sadly: there was barely any nudja flavor in the sauce.Thankfully, they offered to exchange it for orecchiette, which was really tasty and juicy. The cheeseburger was really yummy,fresh and just different from other burgers I’ve tried. Would definitely order again! Chocolate rye cake was decent, but Iwould not try it again: a little dry and quite average. Overall, the service was nice and I would come back, knowing what Iwould and would not order again
