Double Decker Pizza - Media

So reliably delicious and consistent! I have eaten Double Decker pizza since moving to Media PA several years ago with my then-girlfriend-now-wife. I was a pizza chef in a previous life, tossing dough by hand and sweating it out by the ovens for years in New Hampshire's Ramuntos Brick Oven Pizza franchise. I have high standards for the pizza I eat and while DD doesn't serve the thin crust I am usually accustomed to, their pan-style is second-to-none in the area. We recently ordered 5 pies for a party with many of my closest friends visiting from out of town so I needed the pizza to be perfect. I used the online ordering system which was easy and allowed special instructions, which were followed to the letter! Overall, the pizza was just as good with 5 pies as it has been with 1 and the team at DD delivered for an important event in my life! THANK YOU for consistently crushing it and keeping the standard for pizza high!

Delivery is always super quick even on Friday and Saturday nights they definitely don?t keep you waiting. Food is always good, everything is always consistent I love that they have so many choices and will make anything to order they allow you to customize every single thing on their menu so specifically and they absolutely honor it each time I?ve never had my order wrong and I?ll modify and probably have the most annoying order and they never let down !!

There are many great spots to eat in DelCo.. double decker will always have a place of fondness for me. I only get the inside out pizza. It's the best. I'm sure the other stuff is good too. They got that east coast hospitality I love. No bull$hit, real quality.

I ordered a pizza with fried mushrooms but when I got it home, I realized it was baked instead. It was very doughy and overflowing with cheese, sauce, and mushrooms. I was disappointed and felt like it was a waste of money. I prefer the inside-out pizza from Florida Style in South Philly, which unfortunately is now closed. Double Deckers should take notes from them on how to make a good pizza.

Not all Double Deckers are created equal. We ordered takeout tonight, but when we went to pick up our food, they had forgotten to cook our pizza! They said it would be ready in about 10-15 minutes, so we decided to wait. I thought they might give us a little extra for their mistake, but they did not. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla because the one from the Ridley Park location was really good. However, the one I received here was disappointing, with hardly any cheese or chicken. The fries were also soggy because we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for our pizza. The prices are high for the quality of food you get. I will probably not order from this place again.
