Tom's Dim Sum presents a diverse menu that often delights but occasionally disappoints. While the shrimp fried rice and spicy shrimp receive high praise for their flavors, other dishes like hot and sour soup and certain dim sum items fell short in taste and presentation. Service appears to be a hit-or-miss, with some diners appreciating the quick turnaround despite high occupancy, while others encountered mistakes and unprofessionalism. The ambiance and accessibility are noteworthy, and while the vegetable options are limited, overall, the experience can be gratifying for those willing to explore its culinary offerings.

We tried this restaurant after visiting our relatives in swarthmore college. The dishes were surprisingly good. The ding sum is also of quality. The place is spacious. soup is tasty. And to be honest, the price is very reasonable! Parking is easy . many places of trader joe's are right opposite the street. Parking: Easy to park Wheelchair accessibility: Very convenience. Service: Dine in

Come for the dumplings and buns. The entrees we tried were dry and weakly spiced. Service was SLOW. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

I decided to go here yesterday for Dinning Under the stars, and yesterday decided to go by myself after work, and the customer service was HORRIBLE! They took forever to take my order, and didn't ask me if I wanted anything to drink, and once my food was brought to me, I had to track them down for everything I needed, and when I was done, I had to again track down my server for the check..It seems as though they were only interested inservicing certain people, perhaps it may have been that they only want to serve larger groups..I have eaten several other restaurants on that strip, and never received the treatment I received here, so I will NEVER go to this particular restaurant again!!

My husband and I went on a Saturday night. As soon as we sat down, they brought us a pot of tea and some water. We had brought our own wine (the restaurant is BYOB). We ordered four different types of dim sum to start. The server brought each one out assoon as it was ready, so we had a steady stream of food arriving to the table. We were still feeling hungry when the serverbrought out the last plate, so we ordered a couple more pieces. Everything was very good and it was nice having such a widevariety. We?ll definitely be back.

(Not Tom 's) Dim Sum Mania is one of the best restaurants in Media. Hands down. The owner, Tom, can almost always be found in the kitchen or enjoying a lunch break at a table in the back. The staff are very friendly and the food The food there is bothauthentic and extremely good, while remaining affordable. Obliviously their best known for their soup dumplings which areamazing. They also have some very good authentic dishes like beef and Tripe, and many more. Another favorite of mine is thePeking Duck. The restaurant is a byo, and a nice large open space, which would be the only points off as it does get a littleloud when they are packed.
