Reopened Brick & Brew blends friendly service and a broad beer and cocktail program with uneven cuisine and a revamped, brighter interior that divides opinion. Standouts include wings, short rib grilled cheese and inventive pizzas, while other dishes—like ramen and fried pickles—are described as bland or poorly executed. Acoustic improvements help noise, and the spot remains family- and group-friendly on Main Street, though some patrons miss the original, unique pub atmosphere and a few signature touches since the redesign.
Was there last night with a friend and we had a good time. The food and service were great there and always had a wonderful experience. Very recommended to go if you enjoy a low key setting.
I wasn't here in three years, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I was here. Luckily there was nothing sent! The whisky sour (which is still the best I have ever tried) was as fantastic as ever. I wish I could only order 50 of them and deliver them by jet whenever I wanted. The buffalo chicken mac cheese was also fantastic. It was a very large part, but delicious like hell, anyway! Nicely seasoned and weakened chicken and a delicious cheese sauce (especially with the Bleu cheeses crawl up). We sat for a while and chat and weren't thrown out by anyone, which was pretty nice. Definitely a great lunch place in the middle of the week!
For the first time since the reconstruction. We loved old Brick and Brew and were sadly disappointed by our return visit. We were surprised that we were able to sit immediately when we were in the past at least 45 minutes waiting for dinner on a week night alone, and that was a weekend and the place was quite empty. The staff was very friendly and we have no complaints with the servers. Nothing was wrong with our food, but it wasn't almost as good as before. Small substitutes with food sometimes make a big difference. My husband always loved the house made ketchup that they no longer serve. The atmosphere is completely lost in redesign. What used to be a really cool, unique place has changed into just a regular restaurant. It's a solid 'fine' when it used to be the best place on Main Street.
First time back since the remodel. We loved the old Brick and Brew and were sadly disappointed with our return visit. Beer menu selection is decent and the servers I?ve had have been friendly. The food is definitely hit and miss. At best it?s has been mediocre. However, my previous meal was awful. So much so that I came to write this review. I ordered the beef andprovolone sliders. I love funky and strong cheeses and but the ?extra sharp provolone? was so funky it made me physically gag.I?ll be avoiding this place from now on
